Picking a map and a bus in OMX
What the map and vehicle pickers in current OMX development builds show you, from tile counts and start points to repaints, destination tables and fleet numbers.
OMX is a from-scratch, 64-bit implementation of OMSI 2. It reads the buses, maps, scenery, scripts and add-ons from your existing installation and aims to reproduce the original simulation’s behaviour.
It is not a remaster, mod pack or replacement for owning OMSI 2. It is unfinished software in a closed beta.
The map and vehicle pickers read a real OMSI 2 installation. Stock content and installed add-ons appear together, using their original folders and configuration files.

Why big maps and detailed buses can crash OMSI 2, what the 4 GB limit of a 32-bit program really is, and what running as a 64-bit application changes in OMX.
OMX is in a closed beta. Testers are selected by the developer, and there is no public download.
Beta testers are selected by the OMX developer from the OMX Discord community. There is no application form, and joining the Discord does not guarantee a place.
